Welcome to the Redding Dojo of Shotokan Karate of America. Shotokan Karate of America (SKA) is a non-profit organization teaching traditional Karate in the United States since 1955. SKA has more than 120 dojos in North America, and is affiliated with national Shotokan organizations in thirteen countries, including Canada, France, Israel, Spain, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Japan.
Redding Shotokan Karate is dedicated to teaching Karate in the traditional Japanese manner. Redding Shotokan Karate is a karate dojo affiliated with the non-profit organization Shotokan Karate of America (SKA). SKA was founded by Tsutomu Ohshima, Sensei, in 1956 and it is under the direction and leadership of John Teramoto, Shihan. We offer authentic and traditional martial arts instruction. Redding Shotokan Karate was founded by Ken Osborne, Godan, in 1980.
